Hoechst Marion Roussell used a four-CD series to introduce its new allergy medication AllegraTM. Physicians were invited to visit the HMR tradeshow booth and select one of the four titles. While auditioning the CDs via interactive kiosks, the physicians learned about the new medication and also completed a brief questionnaire. The music giveaway drew remarkably large numbers of doctors to the booth and so outperformed other HMR promotional items that the company reordered the series for their representatives to leave behind when visiting doctor's offices, giving doctors another CD in the series with each subsequent visit.
